Each item can carry a multi-line note that appears below the item's text.
Adding or Editing a Note
- iOS: tap the item context menu → Edit Note, or tap the note text area if notes are visible.
- Mac: press Cmd+Return while the item text field is focused.
Showing and Hiding Notes
Toggle note visibility globally for the current outline via the Inspector. Individual item notes can also be shown/hidden inline by tapping the note disclosure area.
Empty Notes
If you leave a note blank and move away, it is deleted automatically.
